blue skies

despite of today being a monday...
despite of the usual piercing heat...
despite of the endless tasks to be accomplished...
despite of the fact that i don't feel too good...
i still think today is a beautiful day.
just go out and look at the sky... you will know what i mean. [grin]

satellite

you probably noticed that we had a full moon for the past few nights.
i took this shot from our backyard before going to bed.
i sometimes find it relaxing to look at the moon... zzzzz =p

on fire

i saw some fire trees while i was on the road this past weekend.
the scenery wasn't as spectacular as i would have imagined it to be.
still, these trees were lovely.
the second photo is the same as the first only zoomed out a bit.
i also applied a smudge stick filter using photoshop to give it a painted feel.

it's just great to be able to unwind and be carefree from time to time.

i went to the airport yesterday to fetch my mom.
it was late afternoon and the sky was so beautiful.
streaks of red and orange mixed in with the blue made the sky captivating.
good thing i brought my digicam. Ü

true colors

colorful trees seem to be abundant this summer.
it's funny because i never seemed to noticed them before.
the only tree that always caught my attention was the fire tree.
its splendor was always a great thing to behold.
i'll capture a great shot of some fire trees before the summer is over.
this photo is of another colorful tree i saw around atc.
i don't exactly know what this tree is called but it obviously isn't a fire tree. [grin]
it's still quite attractive though. Ü

kids can be so adorable at times.
this is derek running around and enjoying himself.
i love this shot because it candidly captures him in flight.
