bloom

baguio is known for its lovely flora.
these are just a few of the numerous flowers that can be found up there.
i was a bit disappointed because i was not able to get more photos.
i wasn't even able to capture the lovelier ones. [sigh]
oh well... maybe next time.

sweet!

our stay in baguio was such a relaxing change.
the air was cool and refreshing unlike from what we experience everyday.
we also didn't have to worry about meeting schedules and deadlines.
it was great to just play around and have fun. Ü

clowning around

i tagged along with jnne and her family to baguio this past weekend.
we visited some friends and relatives and i became the official photographer.
one photo i took was of them and a close family friend.
we all laughed when we saw this photo because we didn't realize that there was a clown present.
the little boy in blue is carl and he likes to surprise us from time to time with his funny faces and absurd stories. [grin]

let's go swimming

it's so hot outside these days.
we decided to go swimming to stay cool. Ü

sing a different tune

have you ever seen a yellow gumamela (or hibiscus in english)?
pink and red gumamelas are the most common.
i was surprised to see these yellow ones.
i didn't recognize right away that these were gumamelas. Ü

the resort

we had a two-day training seminar at a resort in los baños this past weekend.
the place was kind of ordinary and the seminar was boring.
it was the booze, the videoke, and the candid moments that livened things up.

the pest

this was in alabang town center during our lunchbreak.
i wanted to do a stitched view like this PHOTO but i couldn't quite get the right shots.
a lot of passers-by also made it hard to get the shots i wanted.
there was even an annoying man who kept on passing by despite seeing me with a camera waiting for everyone to get out of the way. [whew!]
i had to give up since lunchbreak was almost over.

treasure

this was taken the same time i took these photos.
i just enjoy spending time in this place.
it's so relaxing here even with all the activities nearby.
plus this place brings back a lot of cherished memories.
hmmm... this reminds me...
it's been a long time since i've been back here.
i think jnne and i will drop-by one of these days. Ü

these photos were taken using my phone's built-in digital camera.
i seldom use this for taking photos because i'd rather use my digicam.
from time to time, though, i find the built-in cam quite handy.
it may not create great photos but i still find them to be quite good.

change

i found this old photo stashed away in my stuff.
this was taken eight years ago during an ordinary day in our college organization's "tambayan".
looking at this picture makes me laugh because i can't believe we looked like this before.
wehehe... we look so funny. [grin]
